Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association Category: Case Studies
Maritz Africa Intelligence produced three case studies for the 2017 SAVCA Case Study Compendium. The goal of this printed publication is to showcase the impact that private equity has on businesses, the community and the economy.
Each case study sought to emphasise the positive impact of the private equity partnership on the portfolio company, by looking at measurable or tangible elements such as turnover, profitability, employment gains, BEE profile, greater levels of environmental accountability, support to the local community, job creation and skills development, social upliftment, good corporate governance, etc. This is illustrated through a short section on key statistics, as well as through the write-up section, which is a combination of factual and qualitative information relating to the impact achieved through the private equity partnership
Target readers of the publication include institutional investors, regulators, policy makers, private equity fund managers, advisors to private equity fund managers and members of the media.
